The service
Hands-On Excel (handsonexcel.com) is run by Eshagh Shahnavazi, Istanbul, Türkiye ("we"). It offers interactive spreadsheet exercises in your browser. The free challenges need no account and no payment.
Our practice sheet imitates how spreadsheet formulas behave so you can learn them. It is not Microsoft Excel and may differ from it in places. Hands-On Excel is not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft; Excel is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation.
Using the site
- Use the site for learning, for yourself or with a class or team.
- Don't try to break, overload or scrape the site, get around its limits, or use it to send spam.
- Teachers and trainers may link to any challenge and use it in lessons. Please don't copy the exercises or guides onto another site.
Our content
The exercises, guides, data sets, text and design are ours. You may print or download a page for your own learning. Formulas you write are yours.
Hands-On Excel Pro
Pro is not open yet. "Hold my price" only reserves the early-bird price and adds you to the email list: you are not charged and you have no obligation to buy.
When Pro opens, the price, what is included and how long access lasts will be shown before you pay. Payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider, named at checkout, which may also act as the seller of record and handle taxes and invoices. Prices include or add tax as shown at checkout.
Refunds
If Pro isn't right for you, ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying, for any reason, by writing to [email protected]. See the refund policy for details.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the site running and correct, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. We may change or remove free challenges at any time. If we ever end Pro, we will tell Pro users in advance and refund unused prepaid time.
Responsibility
The free service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on what you practised here. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the EU or elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may use its courts.
